Through a series of letters, cards and notes they write over five decades, the sometimes lovers, sometimes friends reveal their deepest thoughts, dreams and feelings. They communicate with each other through anxious hostel experiences, European adventures, failed marriages and the highs and lows of their careers. The play is a tragicomic exploration of lost opportunities, unspoken love and the intricate friendship that binds them together forever. Arnold Vosloo and Elzab\u00e9 Zietsman have known each other for 43 years. They met on Elzab\u00e9\u2019s birthday in 1981: he a first-year student and she a final-year student.
