Kewpie\u2019s story, grounded in ballroom culture, forms the natural foundation for this performance. The inclusion of Oudtshoorn\u2019s unique pageant culture and the lived experiences of the local queer community, further enrich the production, creating a layered and provocative portrayal of queer life in the Karoo.
