J.R. and his wife, Maria, are on their way to the Cape by ship to establish a refreshment station. Blussing-Fermaak, a stowaway on the ship, threatens to hijack the mission and take the ship to the Congo to trade in slaves from there, or perhaps open a grocery chain. Theatregoers can prepare themselves for a drama in which everything is not always as it seems.
