This piece is a call to rediscover ritual and the spiritual dimension of life, and goes beyond the political and personal to tackle the timeless and universal. This performance blends Butoh dance and poetry and is inspired by the symbolism of the horse in the story Equus, where the horse’s skull serves as a symbol of man’s connection to nature and his own deepest self.
