Mina Thina

WITH Yvonne Msebenzi, Lusanda Soboyise and Melusi Molefe SCRIPT Jennie Reznek and company DIRECTOR Jennie Reznek MUSIC DIRECTOR Yonela Sithela LIGHTING DESIGN AND PRODUCTION MANAGER Themba Stewart PRODUCER Magnet Theatre

Mina Thina explores what it means to be part of a group or family, and what it feels like to be separate and alone. With enchanting songs, catchy rhythms and playful physicality, this performance affirms the power of a supportive group and the joy of being part of a community – be it a family, or friends. It follows the story of a family of three – a mother, a daughter and a younger brother, as on different days, their paths cross and they come together, or they separate and take their own course.
