Leslie Kleinsmith, an established and beloved cabaret and jazz artist from District Six in Cape Town, has developed a love of music shaped by masters such as Sammy Davis Jr., Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra. Over the years he has proven his skill in various musical styles, including popular music, R&B and big band swing. Alexander and Kleinsmith won a Woordtrofee in 2023 for their musical production Effervescence: Xamisa, iKapa, Kaapstad.
