Sometimes pain and hurt hide behind the biggest of smiles, or behind a vivid imagination. Follow the adventures of Blessing and Mossie as they meet at a watering hole next to the Olifants River. Mossie is waiting for the fish to bite, while Blessing waits for his father. Through a series of events, we find ourselves in an exciting imaginary world as they both try to pass the time. However, something sinister lurks between the two as they get to know each other better. Will a friendship develop, or will the hurt and pain be too much to overcome?

Tussen strome was the winning production of the DCAS Drama Festival in 2023 and was also crowned with awards for Best Director and Best Supporting Actress. Director Elton Louw hails from Dysselsdorp in the Klein Karoo and his 2020 play, Die Aasvoël , was chosen for the Artscape New Voices Programme and adapted to a radio drama for RSG, directed by Denver Vraagom.
